Old Time Odyssey (New)

The start of a new project documenting the current traditional music and dance culture of Western North Carolina and surrounding areas. These photos accompany what will be two documentary films currently in production. This distinctly American music is still alive and thriving. My stylistic approach is inspired by Carl Fleischhauer’s multi-decade work in documenting Blue Grass music in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
